Vilija Galdikaite

I was born in Vilnius. Lithuania. I graduated from graphic arts studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDI) in 1980 – 1986, majoring in book illustration. I have been participating in exhibitions since 1986. In 1997 I joined the Lithuanian Artists’ Union, graphics section. In addition to creative work, I am constantly working as a teacher – I am an art teacher at the Lithuanian Children and Youth Center in Vilnius. The topics – natural forms, drawing from nature.
